A very relaxing place to be - spent hours at the infinity pool, the waters were cool and it was not crowded at all. There were small tubs at the side where the water was warmer and you could sit and chat with your friends. Adequate shower stalls and amenities, the place also had someone watching all the time like an unobtrusive lifeguard. The only thing was that the beach view was littered with trash - literally plastic bottles and garbage all over the shore and it was offputiing. Other than that it is a beautiful place with a lot of potential for development.

I like the beach but we don't like the pools. Pools don't look so clean unlike in Acea but other than those I appreciated the beach and the facilities, so serene and quiet. I might go back for that. Beach is a bit rocky but there are portions where the sand is fine. I like that on a fully booked day (we booked on a long weekend), it's still not crowded. Restaurant - food took time to be served. Waiters too busy to give us the menu. Pasta's overpriced for P300 in a small plate but the rest of the food is okay and reasonably priced. Coffee's great too. I super loved the iced mocha, but a bit pricey. Overall, I may consider going back. Kudos to the staff, they're all great and friendly especially to the one stationed to call the shuttles - always smiling.

Excellent service, good regional cuisine, great rooms with a fantastic view. We like to come here again anytime, even if the way from Germany is a bit far. La Jolla could become a flagship for modern tourism on Bataan.

A great weekend getaway - A very relaxing place to be. Perfect sunsets. Nice, clean beach. Good food choices. Clean rooms. Excellent staff. Great place for family and company outings, trainings. However, the staff are in desperate need of training. Waiters at the beachside restaurant were inattentive and constantly chatting with each other, without checking whether guests needed anything more. Cooks in the kitchen were playing music and singing out loud, karaoke style.
There were good selections at breakfast but, again, the staff were clueless about basic details that make the difference between a class A resort and a public establishment. We walked in to loud music playing, which we asked to be turned down twice. A receptionist was dragging her shoes and making a lot of noise with them. How are employees dense to these things? It seems that they refuse to adjust to the workplace and insist on bringing their mundane habits to it instead.
In essence, the resort itself is excellent but employees can potentially lead to its downfall. Also, if you are going to prohibit food from being brought into the resort, you should at least have snacks and sandwiches available somewhere. We were told that the restaurant that served sandwiches was closed, and choices for merienda were very, very limited.
